The Charlotte Harding Collection contains materials related to American illustrator Charlotte Harding Brown (1873-1951). The bulk of the materials are reproductions of her illustrations, and both personal and professional correspondence, including a number of letters from her mentor, Howard Pyle, and reproductions of her illustrations. The Howard Pyle series consists of research materials accumulated by Paul Preston Davis for the writing and publication of his book Howard Pyle: His Life – His Work (2004), a compilation of all known Howard Pyle artwork and illustrations published.
